Another Beauty in NYC!

High Line Park in New York City

Are you kidding me? This is one of the Top Ten Days of all time. Can’t imagine anyone going to the mall today, Black Friday or not! It is a day to celebrate the gift of sunshine and warm temps outdoors in late November! And no better spot than NYC’s parks. A walk on the High Line is a must (the sunset tonight from the High Line, with the Statue of Liberty in the distance will tug at hearts.) Lace up and twirl figure eights at Bryant Park (if the ice hasn’t melted) and grab that wiffle ball and bat and head to Central Park for one last game before Big Bad Winter puts the kibosh on America‘s Favorite Sport (and mine!) Outdoors is where it’s at today in the Big Apple (oh my, the apple pie yesterday was incredible, the secret is olive oil in the crust, but I digress!) Here, some great NYC outdoor ideas from my recent Travel Channel article http://www.travelchannel.com/interests/getaways/articles/walking-paths-in-new-york-city Get outta here!

  1. It’s really one of my favorite spots in New York City! I said the same thing when I walked outside today. I can’t imagine why anyone would want to spend their entire day in a crowded store full of headaches!
