Balloon in NYC for Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Thanksgiving Eve means one thing in the Big Apple–time to blow up the fabulous balloons for the parade. I used to go every year with friends to watch the event on the Upper West Side. It was such a fun night of balloons and dinner at a nearby restaurant. The year that sticks out in mind is the one when it snowed! If you’re in the City, run to the Upper West to watch the merriment. It’s worth it. Anticipation is in the air for the big parade, the weather is mild tonight and it doesn’t cost you a dime to watch. You’ll be thankful for the opportunity.
