It’s so cold on Plum Island already that the snowy owls have arrived! Last year the Parker River Wildlife Refuge, which makes its home on Plum Island, was a popular spot for the snowy owl beauties and quite the attraction for visitors and locals. I haven’t seen one yet, but will keep my eye out. This is a shot I took of pretty Plum Island.
